It is said that if doves are seen on your wedding day, a happy home is assured. Doves mate for life and symbolize Love, Peace, Fidelity, Prosperity, and Good Luck. A dove release is a symbolic and breathtaking touch for every wedding from the most intimate at home ceremony to the grandest fairytale affair.
If your wedding ceremony is indoors, a dove release on the steps of the church or temple after the ceremony is a beautiful and symbolic alternative to bird seed or rice. For environmental reasons, most places will no longer allow the practice of throwing these. If your wedding ceremony is outdoors, the release can be coordinated with any part of the ceremony that you choose, such as the kiss at the end.
White Dove Release also has the option to rent beautiful bird cages for the service and/or reception. Each cage contains a pair of fantail doves that coo and can be placed in the entry hall or by the altar.
Couples can also choose to add doves by releasing several doves themselves. For a wedding outdoors, this can be done during the ceremony. Or, this can be done before or after the ceremony outside as a separate exchange between the couple if the ceremony is indoors.
All of these options can be coordinated with the photographer so there will be pictures to have forever.
